Son Real is a zone located near Can Picafort (Santa Margalida) known for the various prehistoric sites there are (a Dolmen and a Necropolis, among others).
The route proposed starts in Can Picafort, and follows a coastal path that leads to the Necropolis de Son Real (the most famous archaeological site in the place). The path then drifts from the coast, and leads to a talayotic settlement, and then goes back to Can Picafort.
The whole route takes about 2 hours, and is very light. The only difficulty is sometimes walking on the sand, but beside that, it is a casual along the seashore than an excursion.
Still, if you are looking for visiting archaeological sites, this is one of the best places where you can go in the island, given the high value of the zone and of the sites there are in it.

This route is very beautiful if one is interested in going for a light walk along the sea, or in visiting places which have a historical value. But if you are looking for a hard excursion, and you want to do some sport, this is not your route.
